“You Can’t Tell Me That’s Not God!”

Prayer is an invitation to God’s possibilities. God, in His infinite wisdom, may choose to answer in ways we don’t expect or we would not choose; however, He does answer prayer. His timing and methods may not align with ours, but His responses are always for our ultimate good.

However, so very often, we can see God’s work revealed in great relief.

Often, it is in the smallest of things, in the incremental ways. Life can be maddening because of all the little ways things break against us. In the same way, life can demonstrate such peace and purpose in the smallest of ways.

“When a man’s ways please the Lord, he maketh even his enemies to be at peace with him.” Proverbs 16:7

What a fellowship, what a joy divine, leaning on the everlasting arms.

Relief, in its various forms, is a recurring theme in our lives. It can be the peace that comes from a resolved conflict, the joy of a long-awaited answer to prayer, or the comfort of knowing we are not alone in our struggles.

When you see this kind of relief, you will be prompted to say, “You can’t tell me that’s not God!”
