On Wednesday Night, during prayer, the Lord spoke this concept to me.

“There are three Dimensions of Truth …Experience, Doctrine, and Fellowship.”

I heard it over and over as I prayed. I studied this and developed it into an article. May it be a blessing to you.

“There are three Dimensions of Truth …Experience, Doctrine, and Fellowship.”

1st Dimension is that of Experience.

This is where we find what we have always thought was sufficient is challenged by divine intervention. Paul demonstrates this on the Road to Damascus. He was so convinced that those who were “Christians” were wrong and persecuted them. However, on the road to Damascus, A Bright Light Shone and a Voice from Heaven spoke. Paul cried out, “Who are thou, Lord?” This is significant. Paul was asking the Voice, “Who are you, Jehovah?” And the Voice came back, “I am Jesus whom thou persecutest.” He found himself blind and had to be led to a place where he prayed.

The key for him to get to where God wanted him to be, The Lord sent a man to pray for him. He came and prayed for him, and Paul had his “sight” restored and filled with the Holy Ghost.

Act 9:17 And Ananias went his way, and entered into the house; and putting his hands on him said, Brother Saul, the Lord, even Jesus, that appeared unto thee in the way as thou camest, hath sent me, that thou mightest receive thy sight, and be filled with the Holy Ghost.

Often God will begin to highlight our great need for Him and we find ourselves seeking more than what we had previously. Annais helped Paul because he came to him and prayed for him and helped him receive the Fullness of Gods Purpose. God uses people to help us when we realize God has a great work for us.

2nd Dimension is that of Biblical Truth

Imagine the Journey that Paul found himself on when he realized everything he had been taught. All of his world had determined about truth was in direct opposition to what he had experienced by way of heavenly light and Voice but in the infilling of the Holy Ghost.

We see this demonstrated by Apollos.

Act 18:24-28

And a certain Jew named Apollos, born at Alexandria, an eloquent man, and mighty in the scriptures, came to Ephesus. (25) This man was instructed in the way of the Lord; and being fervent in the spirit, he spake and taught diligently the things of the Lord, knowing only the baptism of John. (26) And he began to speak boldly in the synagogue: whom when Aquila and Priscilla had heard, they took him unto them, and expounded unto him the way of God more perfectly. (27) And when he was disposed to pass into Achaia, the brethren wrote, exhorting the disciples to receive him: who, when he was come, helped them much which had believed through grace: (28) For he mightily convinced the Jews, and that publickly, shewing by the scriptures that Jesus was Christ.

Apollos though he was eloquent and powerful in the Word, fervent in the Spirit and diligent in his doctrine, his experience and understanding were not full. God used Aquila and Priscilla to bring him into a fuller understanding. But the 1st and 2nd Dimension must be made complete in the third dimension, it is a dimension of fellowship.

3rd Deminsions is of Common Fellowship

Paul and Apollos both involved themselves in fellowship with those who were before at odds with their “theology” and then actively began to involve thier worship and service with those who shared “like precious faith”. It is impossible to truly grow in what God has for a Person if they only enjoy the first and second dimensions of Revelation. The New Birth, Apostolic Doctrine, and Fellowship experience with those who share the same experience and doctrine.

We must understand the value in this final dimension.

Fellowship is how our Faith is affirmed, strengthened, and shared. Just as many of us receive strength from the writings of the Apostles and Prophets, many receive the Holy Ghost through evangelistic preaching; we grow and are nurtured through Pastors and Teachers. Not just any kind of Ministry, but Apostolic Ministry.

Eph 4:11-16 And he gave some, apostles; and some, prophets; and some, evangelists; and some, pastors and teachers; (12) For the perfecting of the saints, for the work of the ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ: (13) Till we all come in the unity of the faith, and of the knowledge of the Son of God, unto a perfect man, unto the measure of the stature of the fulness of Christ: (14) That we henceforth be no more children, tossed to and fro, and carried about with every wind of doctrine, by the sleight of men, and cunning craftiness, whereby they lie in wait to deceive; (15) But speaking the truth in love, may grow up into him in all things, which is the head, even Christ: (16) From whom the whole body fitly joined together and compacted by that which every joint supplieth, according to the effectual working in the measure of every part, maketh increase of the body unto the edifying of itself in love.

In Conclusion

When I considered this, I began to pray, “Lord, there are many precious souls who have received the Baptism of the Holy Spirit but have not understood that God has more for them.”

There are even others who have advanced beyond baptism in Jesus Name and even received the Gift of the Holy Ghost, yet have been told or have gotten the idea that they can continue in fellowship that is not Spirit Filled or understanding of truth from a Biblical perspective.

I believe that each of these is needed to bring us into a place where we can grow into the place and understand the purpose that God desires. The questions to consider when examining those you have submitted yourself to and groups we support our finances and presence.

Why is it that God could not use them to bring us into an Experience of Truth?

How is it that I will grow in knowledge and understanding, following and fellowshipping those who were unable to bring me to the fullness I now enjoy?

What is the best way for me to progress spiritually and in knowledge?

The answer to these questions may lead us to a conclusion that highlights our understanding of our need of Fellowship that can lead us to a Biblical Experience and Biblical Truth. This will help us begin, but to continue to grow and develop into and doing what God has planned rather than settling back into the previous position and attitude that we had before.

The more God has for us can only be found in Apostolic Fellowship and Teaching. God doesn’t make mistakes, and those who helped us find truth have ordained us to be in fellowship.

I pray that we all will step into each of these areas in deeper and more special places.

Miracles happen in each of these the deeper we enjoy them.
