Truth
224 times the word Truth is found in your Bible.
The word truth, in the Hebrew, is Emeth which means, firmness, faithful, sureness, reliability, stability, continuance, truth as a body of religious knowledge, true doctrine.
The Truth is a Treasure
However, it’s only a treasure, if you treasure the truth.
Some have declared that truth is hate. This is simply misplacing a fact, so many hate truth today, so it’s not that truth is hate, but that they hate the truth.
One man’s truth is another man’s trash. One man’s trash is another man’s treasure.
“Enter ye in at the strait gate: for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leadeth to destruction, and many there be which go in thereat: Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it.” Matthew 7:13 & 14
Truth is a wonderful and glorious thing.
Truth, it is a glorious thing, if one is predisposed to love truth.
Truth is an abomination if one is not willing to accept it.
Jesus said of Himself,
“I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.”
The truth, in relationship to the kingdom of God and specifically to our knowledge of Jesus in a personal way and truth in principle knowledge, we gain and grow in this day by day as the Lord leads and blesses.
“For precept must be upon precept, precept upon precept; line upon line, line upon line; here a little, and there a little: For with stammering lips and another tongue will he speak to this people.”
Isaiah 28:10 – 11
The Pearl
There is very little to a pearl.
Crush it and all you’ll have is lime…ordinary chalk.
The value of the pearl is how it comes into existence.
It is not carved or cut like a diamond or ruby…matter of fact, if you cut a pearl it becomes worthless.
It is created in the heart of a living oyster, in the deep dark of the sea, as an irritant such as a grain of sand is introduced inside the shell. It begins to cut and dig in to the tender inner tissues of the oyster, and it is then that it secretes a substance called Nacre, aka Mother of Pearl.
Layer upon layer is formed around that grain of sand until it is a beautiful pearl.
A pearl is formed by accretion–not mechanically, but vitally, just as God gives the church new life as souls are saved!
“Upon this rock I have built My Pearl!”
Think about it: the pearl is the oyster’s answer to that which wounded it.
The pearl owes its existence to the oyster’s willingness to cover that which had cut it.

Truth, like the pearl, must be received as a treasure as a whole. It must not be cut, divided or
Buy the truth and sell it not.
And no matter what you are offer, never, never, never sell the truth once you have it.
“For what is a man profited, if he shall gain the whole world, and lose his own soul? or what shall a man give in exchange for his soul?” Matthew 16:26
