The Last Four Chapters of the Bible

This morning, I read the last four chapters of the book of Revelation.

Jesus wins. The faithful and devoted followers of Jesus wins. However, everyone else loses.

It’s no doubt triggering if someone heard all those that are included in the list of those who will be judged. This book goes down an exhaustive list of those who will be judged. “But the fearful, and unbelieving, and the abominable, and murderers, and whoremongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars, shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone: which is the second death.” Revelation 21:8
I read the back of the book and the sad facts are that the eternity for those whose names are not written is unimaginable. Hell and eternal damnation should absolutely motivate the church to be on fire with the desire to reach and persuade men.
” For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ; that every one may receive the things done in his body, according to that he hath done, whether it be good or bad. Knowing therefore the terror of the Lord, we persuade men;” 2 Corinthians 5:10-11
I recommend reading the last four chapters, there are some startling declarations. However, it is these two admonitions and warnings.

I believe this is sadly going to apply to a lot of people.

“18 For I testify unto every man that heareth the words of the prophecy of this book, If any man shall add unto these things, God shall add unto him the plagues that are written in this book:
19 And if any man shall take away from the words of the book of this prophecy, God shall take away his part out of the book of life, and out of the holy city, and from the things which are written in this book.” Revelation 22

Let us not be guilty of adding to the words found in this book we call the Bible. Let us not be guilty of taking away of the words, removing and deducting the conclusions of this book. “11 And I saw heaven opened, and behold a white horse; and he that sat upon him was called Faithful and True, and in righteousness he doth judge and make war.
12 His eyes were as a flame of fire, and on his head were many crowns; and he had a name written, that no man knew, but he himself.
13 And he was clothed with a vesture dipped in blood: and his name is called The Word of God.
14 And the armies which were in heaven followed him upon white horses, clothed in fine linen, white and clean.
15 And out of his mouth goeth a sharp sword, that with it he should smite the nations: and he shall rule them with a rod of iron: and he treadeth the winepress of the fierceness and wrath of Almighty God.
16 And he hath on his vesture and on his thigh a name written, King Of Kings, And Lord Of Lords.” Revelation 19

The Kingdom of God is serious business.

What would happen if the church could gain a glimpse into the eternal consequences coming to this world. We have all shaken our head at those that seem unhinged declaring the judgment of God and the realities of hell. We would all agree that is not how to win souls. However, the way was given to us. The great commission is our directive. Go. When they reject you. Go. When they laugh and mock you. Go. When they doubt and dismiss you. Go. Jesus is in the results, increase and harvest business. However, we are called to witness, preach, testify and teach. We are approaching those last four chapters. I pray the Lord will help the church to gain the needed motivation to do what must be done.
” And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire.” Revelation 20:15
