God is calling the church to move into the realm of confrontation.

Confrontation is a harsh reality.

The Spirit of Anti-Christ has been at work in our world since the serpent whispered his enticing lies in the garden.

Everything following that moment, there is a stress line that leads to confrontation.

Did Abel understand that the simple act of giving God his best and first would trigger his brother to kill him? The fact remains,

Cain killed Abel.

Balaac hired Balaam to curse the Children of God.

The giant we know as Goliath defamed God and His people. This continued until someone was willing to step forward and confront the enemy.

Satan himself assaulted the senses of Jesus in those three great temptations.

This familiar quote is so necessary.

“The only thing necessary for the triumph of evil is for good men to do nothing.”

Let me encourage you.

Balaam could not curse what God has blessed.

For all his blaspheme and bluster, Goliath was silenced by a young man who had faith in God.

Jesus gave a prophetic promise with modern-day implications.

“… upon this rock, I will build my church, and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it.” Matthew 16:18

The Gates of Hell Shall Not Prevail.

Gates, by design are created to stop an assault. Jesus has promised if you will assault the gates of hell, the gates will fall.

The Gates of Hell Shall Not Prevail.

The Church Triumphant

The Gates of Hell Shall Not Prevail.

God never intended the church to simply be a “hold the fort mentality.”

We must step forward and attack the strongholds of the enemy. Conquest, expanding territory while we preach and declare God’s kingdom for all those held in chains in the kingdom of darkness.

“(For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God to the pulling down of strongholds;).” 2 Corinthians 10:4

Our weapons are mighty through God.

How Mighty?

So Mighty!

Mighty through God to the pulling down strongholds.

Jesus declared to us, and His words echo to us today from the Gospel of Mark, “these signs shall follow them that believe; In my name shall they cast out devils;.”

Mark 16:17

It is time to come off the sideline and out of the stands.

We are called to go forth into our world with an offensive mentality.

“We wrestle not against flesh and blood, “Ephesians 6:12

Our battle is spiritual, and therefore, our weapons are supernatural!

“Wherefore take unto you the whole armor of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand.” Ephesians 6:14

I saw a video where an Antifa leader was sending out a plea to her communist comrades to assemble in Portland. She was making a plea, “Please get down to the justice center, We need Bodies.

This statement resonated with me. I reflected on the parallel between an evil kingdom and God’s kingdom.

They both need bodies.

For the kingdom of darkness, it is fueled by anger, doubt, hate, violence, and the evil nature that is resident in the body of humanity.

However, the Kingdom of God needs the righteous to yield their bodies to the Holy Spirit of God so that he might find agency and availability to flow through and shine into the darkness for the kingdom.

Romans 12:1

I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service.

On December 7, 1941, the Terrorist Regime of Japan launched an offensive that would engrave that date into the history books as a day of infamy.

On that day, bombs were dropped in a surprise attack on the slumbering and relaxed forces of the United States of America.

This moment was the catalyst that drew America into the War, World War two.

In Less than 4 Years, America was mobilized and armed with grit and determination,

Because of this, in just over three years, Hitler and Nazi Germany fell.

And finally, Hirohito and Japan Fell.

On September 2, 1945, World War Two ended, and the document that Japan fully surrendered was signed.

Japan’s assault awakened a sleeping Giant. And that unwise action initiated the demise of the axis of evil.

America became a World Super Power.

Ladies and Gentlemen

It’s time to wake up.

The spirit of evil always overestimates its own power.

The spirit of evil always underestimates the resolve and power of the righteous.

I have read the back of the book and the scripture declares,

“And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb, and by the word of their testimony; and they loved not their lives unto the death.” Revelation 12:11

Ladies and Gentleman,

Can you hear the klaxons

The storm is not just coming; the storm is here.

It is not time to batten down the hatches; it is time to take up arms.

“….the kingdom of heaven suffereth violence, and the violent take it by force.” Matthew 11

May we as the true worshippers arise to a greater place of worship.

Worship is our Warship!

Prayer is our Ordinance!

Our witness is our guided missiles!

Listen to Paul in his letter to the Romans,

“And that, knowing the time, that now it is high time to awake out of sleep: for now is our salvation nearer than when we believed. The night is far spent, the day is at hand: let us therefore cast off the works of darkness, and let us put on the armour of light.” Romans 13:11-13
