The best of times and the worst of times at the same time.

We have a choice of what we focus on. I am not advocating being an ostrich with its head in the sand. However, you can see a lot more by looking up.

If you simply look at the ground, you will miss a lot.

Honestly, I have had more than a few times I felt righteous indignation with the issues in our world.

Men in women’s bathrooms.
Castrating young boys and hysterectomies for young girls.
Large swaths of our government and leaders advocating abortion up to nine months to the point of birth,
gas prices,
inflation at the grocery store,
drag queens dancing at schools, libraries, and churches,
gay pornography in elementary schools,
losing freedom of speech, …. the list is growing…

Outrageous.

It’s necessary that while all of this stuff seems to be a diabolical agenda being pressed as hard as possible.

What is the silver lining?

God is at work in the land. People are waking up. People are getting hungry for God. People realize a growing need to get right with God.

Every day, I have access to, think in, pray in, and walk in the Spirit of God.

The Psalmist in chapter seventy-three, I can see my own feelings in this chapter.

“2 But as for me, my feet were almost gone; my steps had well nigh slipped.

He lists out the outrage in detail.

17 Until I went into the sanctuary of God; then understood I their end.”

Verse three through sixteen he highlights the wickedness in his world. However, he had a revelation.

Goodness, Righteousness, and Holiness will win the blessing.

Wickedness, filthiness, and evil will suffer for eternity because of what they did on this world.

I desire to see the wicked repent and be saved.
No doubt.

However, regardless of what they do and don’t do, I will praise the Lord and seek to do his will.

God is working and we have access to His Spirit and empowerment to make a difference in this world.

I will stand up. I will speak up. I will pray and witness.

I am looking for Jesus to be seen and praised today.

I am determined to physically show up to Church every time the doors are open,

There is something special that happens when I go into the sanctuary of the Lord!
