How many would have a ministry that could help people experience salvation and deliverance if they only loved the Lord as much as they love themselves and personal agendas?
Jesus gave requirements many are unwilling to fulfill.
Deny yourself
Take up your cross
Follow Jesus
The greatest example is demonstrated by Jesus.
He left his throne in glory to save the eternities of people.
Sadly many can not be used by God because they love this present world too much to be used by God to be a voice to see the eternal souls being saved.
” Brethren, be followers together of me, and mark them which walk so as ye have us for an ensample.
(For many walk, of whom I have told you often, and now tell you even weeping, that they are the enemies of the cross of Christ:
Whose end is destruction, whose God is their belly, and whose glory is in their shame, who mind earthly things.)”
If these words seem to make you uncomfortable, this is yet another reminder that God has greater things for you, if you will give your greatest things to God.
So many idolize godly men and women while unwilling to follow the example they lived.
And while those they idolized helped others be saved, they themselves are salving the consciences of those who will be damned.
Tragic contrast and damning realities.
Who will answer the call to ministry by denying your own agenda and lay all of that aside to be a voice used by God to see the hearts and lives of others eternally saved by the Power of God.
