Miracles. I believe they happen every day.

They are possible.

Believing, Praying, Expecting, Speaking, Thinking, and Planning.

These things are the ingredients that set the stage where miracles happen.

Jesus promised, “Greater works than these shall ye do.”

“… nothing shall be impossible unto you.”

“And this is the confidence that we have in him, that, if we ask anything according to his will, he heareth us: And if we know that he hear us, whatsoever we ask, we know that we have the petitions that we desired of him.” 1 John 5:14-15

We can pray for things that are not God’s will and we trust and hope they are not done. We want God’s will.

However, I suggest there are many things that God desires to be done; however, he is looking for willing vessels to be the voice and agent of His working.

” Now unto him that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that worketh in us, Unto him be glory in the church by Christ Jesus throughout all ages, world without end. Amen.” Ephesians 3:20-21

Jesus taught us how to pray to our heavenly father daily.

“Thy kingdom come, Thy will be done in earth, as it is in heaven.” : Matthew 6:10

I believe God’s greatest desire revolves around His purpose of reaching, reconciling, and saving souls.

When we focus our prayers, activity, and desire on the Kingdom of God and his righteous working, we intertwine our hearts with the heart of Jesus Christ.

Here is the most important quality God is looking for, your heart is set on doing what pleases him by working toward being led by the Spirit of God.

God is not looking for spiritual superstars.  God is looking for humble men and women of faith who will seek the good, grace and healing for all people.

While John the Baptist languished in prison, sending word to Jesus and illustrating his doubt, Jesus gave some characteristics that I believe are still the work of the Messiah.   It is the will of Jesus that we seek to echo this same priority today.

Jesus answered and said unto them, Go and shew John again those things which ye do hear and see:    The blind receive their sight, and the lame walk, the lepers are cleansed, and the deaf hear, the dead are raised up, and the poor have the gospel preached to them.”  Matthew 11:4-6
