In Gratitude and Appreciation To Every Godly Woman

Yesterday I went to a funeral, the Grandmother of BJ Randall and the mother of Monte Brent Randall Sr.

Based on everything I have heard about this dear lady, she was a faithful, prayerful, dedicated, and devout apostolic sainted lady.

I observed a lady that looked of similar age sitting in a pew in the sanctuary. There were gathered around her several people.

She was weeping, and you could hear her say, “I have lost my best friend.” I could feel her sorrow, and my heart was so sad for this lady, who I do not know, but I do know her. I have known these kinds of precious women all my life.

While walking through the hallway, we walked by the Kitchen at the church.  I looked, and I saw it was bustling with these same sorts of precious women. I looked at Bro. Ryan Williams and told him, “I love the church. It is the best place with the best people in the whole wide world.”

Today, I want to say how thankful I am for the Godly influence of these same sorts of Godly women who have served, supported, prayed for, and upheld the apostolic church around the world.

No doubt each one is a uniquely special individual. However, there is a spirit, a character, and a quality found in these sainted women they all have in common.

My whole life, I have been so blessed to be influenced by these women. I don’t even know that I could name them all because they have been so numerous. Grandmothers, mother, Sunday school teachers, pastors wives, and to have lived with this same sort of Godly woman in the person of my prayerful, loving, and Godly wife.

From my earliest memories till this day, almost fifty-two years, my life has been blessed by God through these praying, sainted, holy women.

God no doubt ordained the church to be led by men. However, there is no doubt that as God created eve to birth and mother children, God has ordained women to be of such vital importance. We would do well to recognize and honor the virtue and value of the Holy influence God has put in the church.

I believe that one of the greatest conduits of God’s grace in my life has flowed through these holy vessels of God exemplified in these holy and prayerful women.

To each and every prayerful, Godly woman,

Thank you!

I am a life that was changed.

In Him, By Him, Through Him,

Just some further thoughts,

I believe we see this type of woman exemplified in the Shunamite woman.

” And it fell on a day, that Elisha passed to Shunem, where was a great woman; and she constrained him to eat bread. And so it was, that as oft as he passed by, he turned in thither to eat bread.  And she said unto her husband, Behold now, I perceive that this is an holy man of God, which passeth by us continually.   Let us make a little chamber, I pray thee, on the wall; and let us set for him there a bed, and a table, and a stool, and a candlestick: and it shall be, when he cometh to us, that he shall turn in thither. And it fell on a day, that he came thither, and he turned into the chamber, and lay there.” 2 Kings 4:8-11
