How did Mary know what to do when she was at the wedding and there was no wine? I suggest it was a similar situation outlined in this text. “And when his disciples came to the other side, they had forgotten to take bread.”
Which when Jesus perceived, he said unto them, O ye of little faith, why reason ye among yourselves, because ye have brought no bread?
Do ye not yet understand, neither remember the five loaves of the five thousand and how many baskets ye took up?
10 Neither the seven loaves of the four thousand and how many baskets ye took up?”

At what point do we know where to go when the bread runs out? At what point do we take solace when trouble, trials, and temptations come? Why is it we are so quick to forget the most amazing things that have ever happened to us and we resort to our schemes, wondering and searching? Jesus, wanted his disciples to know where to turn when there was no bread.
I believe Mary knew the intent and ability of Jesus. She had lived with him since his birth and she had a revelation about Jesus most would not know till later. I suggest, Jesus expects us to get a Mary Understanding. When Jesus has been with you for a few decades, Jesus hopes you understand, put me in charge and I will take care of it. I believe Jesus as his Mothers protector and helper, like every good son is. I believe Jesus was the best son there has ever been. I suggest he’s an even better savior today,
A better provider, because Jesus is with us.

Jesus is God with us.

How many times is God going to prove he is God for us to actually look to him first when we have troubles?
