Generosity is a favored trait that speaks to someone’s appreciation of the generosity of God to us. God is kind to all. The just and the unjust, he sends his rain and does not block his light from shining. The grace of God that brings salvation appears to all mankind. Some receive and embrace.
Others scoff at and live in defiance of that God. God is still Good.
I am thankful to God; therefore, I try to remember how many times I have lived without being properly thankful and seek to demonstrate mercy and kindness.
We should seek to be good as our God is good.
All the time.
There is a divine retribution that is coming to the unthankful and unrighteous.
Romans 12
19 Dearly beloved, avenge not yourselves, but rather give place unto wrath: for it is written, Vengeance is mine; I will repay, saith the Lord.
20 Therefore if thine enemy hunger, feed him; if he thirsts, give him drink: for in so doing thou shalt heap coals of fire on his head.
21 Be not overcome of evil, but overcome evil with good.
