Frankenstein Morality

Believing in Transformation in a World of Monstrous Immorality.

I believe in the power of God to transform lives from the corruption and darkness of this world to bring an individual, anyone, into the marvelous light, love, freedom, and peace that is only available in Jesus Christ.

The beautiful truth of Jesus speaking of being born again, this miraculous transformation is possible and available to all.  No matter their current situation.

There is a sad truth about our current culture and world.

We live in a post-truth world.  In every central institution in our culture, from the government to institutional Christianity, nothing has value except the absolute principle that everyone must bow to the ever-changing absolute declaration of the current orthodoxy demanded.  What was true two years ago is different today, and it’s mind-boggling to imagine what will be demanded to be accepted in the next two years.

The breakdown became official when the world bowed to same-sex marriage. The root was removing the stigma of adultery, fornication, and accepting sex without commitment. The underlying fuel for this was sex without consequences.

It masqueraded as feminism and the Hollywood version of a sexual monster of testosterone, violence, and pride.

The ultimate result was fatherless children and abortion. There are other sad consequences that some live with the results of that lie, even if they can’t or refuse to recognize the lie for what it was.

Feminism, the sexual revolution, and rebelling against the Judeo-Christian ethic have made the Frankenstein culture we live in today.

This cocktail of mental/spiritual viruses of the soul has become so hard-wired that seeing it cured seems almost impossible.

But God!

These scriptures seem quite relevant.

Ephesians 2
1 And you hath he quickened, who were dead in trespasses and sins;
2 Wherein in time past ye walked according to the course of this world, according to the prince of the power of the air, the spirit that now worketh in the children of disobedience:
3 Among whom also we all had our conversation in times past in the lusts of our flesh, fulfilling the desires of the flesh and of the mind; and were by nature the children of wrath, even as others.
4 But God, who is rich in mercy, for his great love wherewith he loved us,
5 Even when we were dead in sins, hath quickened us together with Christ, (by grace ye are saved;)
6 And hath raised us up together, and made us sit together in heavenly places in Christ Jesus:
7 That in the ages to come he might shew the exceeding riches of his grace in his kindness toward us through Christ Jesus.

I believe in the power of the Gospel to radically transform lives.
I believe the Word of God is alive and able to bring a separation and understanding of truth to anyone willing to believe.  If one will humble their pride, ego, and mind to the ancient faith of Jesus Christ, they can experience a radical transformation that will bring them healing, peace, and ultimate joy.
