If you want a better life, change is the doorway to better. Repent is the Biblical word for Change. To go in a different direction. If you believe, change, and repent is to turn from wicked, selfish, carnal, and vain pursuits.

That’s hard, you say.

Exactly.

However, better does not come because you want better. If you want a better reality, you must be a better version of yourself.

Your actions, words, thoughts, and attitudes are seeds you sow each moment that dictate the future realities you will face.

The longer you keep sowing good seeds and stop sowing bad seeds, the future harvest of a better life becomes more abundant and deep.

Shallow efforts will give shallow better. A deeper commitment to being a better person in actions, words, thoughts, and attitudes will bring a harvest of better. This is practically true.

Want to go to a deeper level?

Cease to actually live according to the principles of the teachings of Jesus, and your life can be better than better but blessed and filled with peace.

I see people who put off an image that is not real. Some believe that wanting a better life while living the same low energy, low expectations from themselves, effortless, thoughtless, selfish…

The proof in that sour pudding can be seen and smelt a mile away.

Repent.

It’s the doorway to better than better but blessed.

Repent from your selfish and vain pursuits, seek good, God, and godly, and see what change will come.

Faith in God that motivates you toward a life that reflects the goodness and grace of Jesus will make you more than just blessed, but a blessing to all that know you.
