“Let us therefore come boldly unto the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy, and find grace to help in time of need.”  Hebrews 4:16

We can have boldness to approach God when we understand what HE has given us access to.

Read the Context in Hebrews chapter 4.

Our Great High Priest, The Word of God, Jesus, His Blood, His Name, and His great love for us.

The Word declares that Our heavenly father has an even greater preference for us and provision than our earthly father.    So you had a bad dad?   God, he is a Good Father.

You had a great dad?  God is an even greater Father.

Boldness.

We can not just approach him boldly; we can leave His presence and take that boldness with us.

We represent Him, seeking to bring his Kingdom and Will to our world.   With that same impressive arsenal.

The weapons of our warfare are NOT carnal.

But mighty through God!

MIGHTY God!

Working through the weapons, he has given for the conflict.

Jesus sent the Disciples out declaring, “In my name, you will cast out devils…”

Jesus did not send you out with nothing.  He sent you out with a proven weapon.

Ask Goliath what it was like to fight against the Name of the Lord God?

No weapon designed and customized to destroy you by hell will prosper.

Because the best Hell has pails in comparison.

The only way Hell wins is if you surrender.

When you stand, Jesus stands with you.

When you stand, the Angels of the Lord stand with you.

Upon the rock of revelation of Jesus Christ, the gates of Hell shall not prevail against us, the Church.

We must resist the Devil for him to flee.

Often this resistance is found in not accepting every fleeting thought that flies through your brain. The enemy fights in the realm of your thoughts. It is the same area God works in.

I have had an impression that stayed with me for days and weeks. Caused discouragement, condemnation, fear, and dread.

At some point, I discerned, “This is not of God.”

I rejected it. At that moment, like a light turned on, that spirit, feeling, and negativity left me forever.

The nature of evil operates in the realm of your mind to make you fearful and doubtful. He can also encourage you to be self-confident and fearless to do what is wrong or hurtful.

However, when you understand this attack is of the Devil/Evil, evil operates in your ignorance and darkness. When you understand and you address that.

The trap is sprung, and that battle is over.

Boldness

“I am a son of God!”

“I am the purchased possession of God.”

“I am in Covenant Child of God.”

If God is for you, game over for those who might seek to destroy you.

“for he hath said, I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee.  So that we may boldly say, The Lord is my helper, and I will not fear what man shall do unto me.”  Hebrews 13:5-6
