Experience Acts 2:38

As I was praying with a man coming from a very dark life and past.  I explained to him, that Jesus is the Light his world needs.   He had been praying and crying while pouring his heart out to God.

I asked him, “Do you want to be baptized?”  He responded, “I have never been baptized, yes I want to be baptized.”  I began to explain to him.  What you have been feeling and experience is the presence of God and the light of his presence.  When you are baptized you will be buried in the light, and light will become your covering and armor.  You will receive the Holy Ghost and that Light, that very presence of Jesus Christ will fill you with Light.   Every day you are going to be faced with the decision and responsibility to turn on the light.”

I began to explain to him.

This man who had never really had an experience in God, life in shambles from sin and iniquity.  He walks into the baptism.
He is baptized in Jesus name and when he comes up he timidly raises his hands and begins to pray.  In just a few moments, his hands shaking his eyes closed and tears flowing he begins to speak in tongues as the spirit fills him to overflowing.
I felt that this inspiration the Lord gave me while praying with this man was worth sharing.
This man experienced Acts 2:38.

Repentance is putting yourself in a position to come out of the dark.

It is moving towards the light.
Baptism in Jesus Name… You are being Buried in the Light
Baptism of the Holy Ghost you are being Filled with the Light
From that point, everyday you are commissioned to allow that Light shine from you.
This promise and power is available to everyone!
