We are made in the image of God.

“And when the people complained, it displeased the Lord: and the Lord heard it; and his anger was kindled; and the fire of the Lord burnt among them, and consumed them that were in the uttermost parts of the camp.” Numbers 11

I see it in this trait.

God does not want to hear you complain.
Let me rephrase that, God is not pleased when you complain.
Complaining can cause God to punish and curse you.

Moral of the story?

Stop complaining and start rejoicing.

“Giving thanks always for all things unto God and the Father in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ;” Ephesians 5:20

“Rejoice in the Lord always: and again I say, Rejoice.” Philippians 4:4

Learning how to be thankful is a skill worthy of your living.
There is a gift you can give God. The Gift of Rejoicing in what is going on in your life is an invitation of God into your situation.

We would do well to train our children to be thankful and further learning how to rejoice.

There is always something to be thankful for.

It’s not unlike lemonaid. Squeezing the juice out of a sour situation and adding some sugar to it.

Rejoice in the Lord always and again I say Rejoice!
